This was a private meeting of Pagani Zonda owners organized by Horacio Pagani himself!!! There were 14 Pagani Zonda’s which made up an amazing supercar rainbow! (And a very rare purple Bugatti Veyron)

2005 Maserati MC12 on eBay $1.2 Million (Photos)

A Maserati MC12 has been listed on eBay. Only 25 were made in 2005 and just 7 were federalized for use in USA, one of which is this blue-and-white gem you see above. Similar to its brother, the Ferrari Enzo, the MC12 shares not only the Ferrari 6.0-liter V12, but the same hefty price tag, as well.

The current bid for this particular example is over $1,205,100 with 19 Hours left. Originally owned by a collector in Florida, it is up for sale by Lamborghini of Las Vegas and only has 521 virgin miles on her.

GM Engineer Explains the Making of the ZR-1 LS9

GM’s objective of the ZR-1 Project was to achieve 100 hp per litres using the 6.2L small block V8.

The new ZR-1 supercharged 6.2L small block V8 packs at least 620 hp and nearly 600 lb-ft of torque, and its should finally catapult the Corvette into supercar status. Autoblog was lucky enough to spend some time with Ron Meegan, the small block assistant chief engineer of GM’s small block engine program, who gave them an engineer’s explanation of the supercharged LS9 engine.
