New York 09' Preview: Acura Teases With a New Crossover Concept

Acura has released a few teaser images of its new crossover concept that is going to be unveiled at the New York Auto Show.

The crossover concept features styling that is very similar to the controversial BMW X6. That means its most likely a four-door coupe-like crossover.

It's Official! Honda S2000 Dead at the End of this Year

Honda has officially announced that 2009 will be the final model year for the Honda S2000.

The S2000 was originally introduced in 1999 as a 2000 model.

"The S2000 is a sports car designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts," said John Mendel, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "It raised the bar for all future roadsters, and it's already considered a classic by many Honda fans."

So sad....

More Photos of the 2010 Toyota Prius Show up on the Web

More photos of the next-gen 2010 Toyota Prius are showing up on the internet. A few weeks ago the first photos of the new Prius leaked onto PriusChat and were confirmed to be accurate photos by Toyota.

The 2010 Prius is set for a world debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January. What we do know about the new hybrid is that it will keep its iconic shape with a slightly larger body and more distinct nose. Inside there is an all-new dash design that looks far more complicated than the current generation.

The 2010 Prius is also expected to be more powerful and at the same time achieve better gas mileage.

2010 Nissan 370Z Shots Show Up on Need for Speed Undercover Promo

We've already seen several spy photos of the new 2010 Nissan 370Z, but now we have some un-camouflaged shots of the car thanks to the promo site for Need for Speed Undercover.

The 330 horsepower 2010 Nissan 370Z is going to be officially unveiled next month at the 2009 LA Auto Show.

2010 Lexus IS 250C Unveiled in Paris

Lexus has unveiled the 2010 Lexus IS 250C at the Paris Motor Show.

Lexus took its popular IS sedan and chopped off the roof and two doors to create the IS 250C. The newest Lexus convertible features an aluminum folding roof that takes just 20 seconds to open. The IS 250C is powered by the same 2.5L V6 as the sedan.

Europe will get the new IS 250C first in the summer of 2009 and the US will get it shortly thereafter.

Honda Cuts Pilot and Odyssey Production but Boosts Civic Production

Across the industry automakers are cutting truck and SUV production in favor of more fuel-efficient cars. Honda has announced plans to cut its Pilot SUV and Odyssey minivan production in order to pump out more of the highly sought after Civics.

2009 Nissan GT-R Deliveries Start in July but 70 Percent of Them Are Already Sold

Nissan has announced that the 2009 Nissan GT-R will finally be hitting dealerships on July 7th, but approximately 70 percent of this year's allocation has already been spoken for.

More Photos of the All-New Nissan GT-R Unveiled Thanks to Inside Line

Well today has been a fun day. This morning Motor Authority posted a scanned photo of the next issue of Motor Trend which has the all-new GT-R on the cover. Motor Trend is now requesting that those photos be taken down (see my previous post). AutoWeek also decided to post photos of the car, which you will have to check out on your own. Now Inside Line has jumped on the bandwagon and released their own official photos of the car.

Starting tomorrow Nissan is going to start selling their entry in the crowded compact SUV/CUV segment, the Rogue. The new Rogue will primarily compete with the CR-V and RAV-4 heavyweights.
